Sancho silences Dortmund doubters and spoils Klinsmann’s first game as Hertha Berlin boss

JADON SANCHO has continued to silence his Borussia Dortmund doubters after notching his second goal in a week.

The 19-year-old winger marked his return to the starting eleven by opening the scoring after fifteen minutes with a cooly-taken finish.

The England star had been accused of not being “fully focused” by manager Lucien Favre who benched him for the 3-1 defeat to Barcelona in midweek.

But Sancho has since responded emphatically by coming on to score Dortmund’s consolation at the Nou Camp.

And when the ex-Manchester City kid walked through the mixed media zone afterward, he claimed he been told not to comment.

Yet Sancho has now let his feet do the talking on the pitch as he netted his sixth goal of the season after being put in by Julian Brandt.

Eden Hazard’s younger brother Thorgan quickly made it two to put Dortmund in complete control in Jurgen Klinsmann’s first game in charge of Hertha.

However, Vladimir Darida pulled one back for the hosts before Mats Hummels was sent off on the stroke of half-time for a second yellow card.

Dortmund held on to move temporarily up to fifth, four points behind leaders RB Leipzig, while Hertha remain in the relegation zone on 11.
