Despite leaving for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for £162million, Mbappe has remained an icon at his old team.
And they paid tribute to the rapid forward with rare footage of him in action before shooting to stardom.
It begins with Mbappe as a kid showing off some moves before a compilation of his strikes from the youth teams.
The video then progresses as he breaks into the first team and continues to hit the back of the net using his blistering pace.
It ends with him lifting the Ligue 1 title with the striker scoring 15 league goals throughout the campaign.
He commented on the video: “So many memories. Thank you for everything.”
Mbappe has been flooded with messages from current and past team-mates including Blaise Matuidi, David Luiz and French model Cindy Bruna.
At the age of 21 he has already lifted the World Cup, three Ligue 1 titles and over 100 professionals goals.
He also holds the record for the most Champions League goals before his 21st birthday with 19 – 12 more than Karim Benzema.
And he is just the second teenager after the legendary Pele to score in a World Cup final.
