MANCHESTER UNITED make the short hop across town to the Etihad, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hoping his side have turned a corner after a below par start.

The Norwegian earned a satisfying 2-1 victory over a Spurs team coached by predecessor Jose Mourinho in midweek, and will be hoping for more of the same in this one.

Team news

Anthony Martial will be fit to play a part in the Manchester derby, says Solskjaer.

He told his pre-match press conference: “We hope to have Anthony, definitely, for part of the game. I am not sure he is able to start.

But Paul Pogba will not be ready for the Etihad clash.

Solskjaer said of the World Cup winner: “We expect him back as soon as possible, as quickly as possible. He’s out on the grass training.

“I said [he’ll be back] in 2019, so hopefully we’ll see him before the new year, definitely.”

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Sergio Aguero will miss the derby, but Oleksandr Zinchenko is back in training for City.
