FREDDIE LJUNGBERG is struggling to cope due to the lack of staff he has with him at Arsenal – and has begged the board to give him a leg-up.
The Gunners interim boss only has academy coach Per Mertesacker alongside him but the workload of managing a top Premier League club has left him demanding more help.

The Swede only picked up his first win at the third attempt – a 3-1 defeat of West Ham – after replacing axed boss Unai Emery.
And, ahead of tomorrow’s massively tough home match with champions Manchester City, Ljungberg has told Emirates chiefs they need to allow him to take on more coaches.
Ljungberg said: “If you look at the person who was here before, he had a lot of staff.
“I don’t have many staff. If you keep on going like that for months and months, it’s not easy. But that’s totally up to the club.”
Ljungberg quit his job as Wolfsberg No2 to take over the Gunners Under-23 team.
He was given the top job on an interim basis but has not been told how long this will be for.
Emirates chiefs have refused to appoint any more coaching staff as they want to bring in a new manager as soon as possible, who will be allowed to appoint his own team.
Ljungberg said: “I have Per, but at the same time he is academy manager. He is helping me with the coaching.

“The club has said when they make a decision then that’s it or I’m obviously leaving or maybe then we can do something with the staff. But it’s up to the club.”
The Gunners have been linked with Carlo Ancelotti, Mauricio Pochettino, Max Allegri, Nuno Espirito Santo and Mikel Arteta as they hunt for Emery’s successor.
The club were in the midst of their worst run in 27 years when they pulled the trigger on the Spaniard’s disappointing 18-month reign.
