Now Euro heroes James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana are taking a safety-first approach to investing.
The trio are co-directors, along with two chartered surveyors, of a recently-formed firm called Canute Court Developments Ltd.
Canute Court is commercial land and buildings in Knutsford, and was once the headquarters of SSL International, the healthcare firm whose brands included Durex.
Documents filed at Companies House show that Milner, Henderson and Lallana have all lent money to CCD.
Now the trio are hoping for the rubber the green with their investment . . .
