AS Wales fans raised their flagons to the Dragons, Gareth Bale delighted them even more by hoisting a cheeky flag taunting his club Real Madrid.
Having already backed Welsh supporters for their ‘Wales, Golf, Madrid’ song, Bale made his own banner headlines after a 2-0 defeat of Hungary sealed automatic qualification for Euro 2020.

The 30-year-old delighted social media but risked irking Real by joining his Wales team-mates in a Flag’s XI holding a written version of the daring ditty.
And just to ram home the message all the way back to Spain, the national flag followed up its “WALES, GOLF MADRID main line with “IN THAT ORDER”.
One fan joked on Twitter: “Very creative as far as resignations go!”.
Real boss Zinedine Zidane has claimed Bale will stay at Bernabeu for the rest of the season.
But Manchester United and Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua will reportedly revive their interest in the ex-spurs frontman during the January transfer window.
LEAVER RATHER THAN VIVA?
And the Welsh fans could soon be belting out “Leaver” rather than “Viva,” “Gareth Bale” if Real take offence at his flag gag.
Dragons’ supporters mainly backed Bale, with comments like “Love it!” and “A lot of time for this”.
And noting Bale’s long plight under Zidane, another fan said: “At least he’s being honest”.
Wales fans introduced their update of the Bale song in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Azerbaijan.
Bale responded by telling Welsh TV channel S4C: “I’ve heard it, especially when I was on the bench when I came off and the boys were laughing. It’s a bit of fun.”
And with Wales more jubilant still after an Aaron Ramsey double saw off Hungary in Cardiff, Bale himself has now delivered an even bigger dig at Real with his Banner-beu antics.
