CRISTIANO RONALDO was not a happy bunny when a pitch invader yanked his neck in the futile search for a selfie.
Plenty of plucky fans who have previously caught the Juventus star at his place of work have come away with a viral photo and pat on the back.
The pitch invader had barely a split second to take the snap
A steward’s tackle sent the Juve winger flying
Ronaldo produced his best death stare as the man was taken away
But the man who darted onto the BayArena pitch at the final whistle of the match with Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night was afforded very little charity.
With stewards in pursuit, he stormed up to the player and surprised him with a quick request for a photo.
However, sooner than he could say “Ballon d’Or”, the fan was whipped off Ronaldo by a steward and carried away.
The security personnel’s tackle meant the pitch invader ended up grabbing at the star’s neck, leaving him visibly furious as he tended to the wound.
Ronaldo initially stumbled and raised a hand at his aggressor before quickly lowering it and settling for a death stare, cursing as the full-time handshakes continued.
Previously, the 34-year-old has ensured valiant supporters are rewarded for their daring do – even stopping Portugal’s game with Lithuania last month to take a photo, leaving the fan in tears.
And a young Juve supporter who snuck over to his team’s bench during a pre-season friendly with Singapore was rewarded with a seat among the subs.
It was an otherwise good night for Juve as their star man scored for the third game in a row to help secure a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
In the 75th minute, Ronaldo arrived at the back post to poke home Paulo Dybala’s cross before Gonzalo Higuain netted in stoppage time as the Old Lady won Group D.
