FREDDIE LJUNGBERG is reportedly set to quit Arsenal to take over as manager of Malmo following the appointment of Mikel Arteta.
That is despite the Swede appearing to confirm he was set to stay with the Gunners last night.

Ljungberg, 42, served as Unai Emery’s assistant before taking over as interim boss following the Spaniard’s sacking last month.
Arsenal have won once in five matches in that time and the former Invincible will lead them out for the final time against Everton today.
But a report from news outlet Sportal in his homeland claims he is close to being named as the new man in charge at Malmo.
They state that the Swedish club want him to replace Uwe Rosler in the dug-out.
Malmo is close to Halmstad, Ljungberg’s first club.
And they report he has a “close relationship” with Malmo’s sporting manager Daniel Andersson.
But yesterday he appeared to commit his future to Arsenal, tweeting: “The message from me is still the same, get behind us and support the team!
“It’s been an honour to have helped the club I love for the last few weeks and I am excited to work with Mikel Arteta and his staff moving forwards.”
Ljungberg has worked as No2 in Germany at Wolfsburg previously as well as coaching the Gunners’ U23 side.
Arteta signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Arsenal.
It has been reported that Steve Round, who previously worked for Manchester United and Everton, will be part of his coaching staff.
