EVERTON are preparing to make an ambitious move for free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports.
The Toffees want to give him a final swansong in the Premier League and are ready to make him their highest-paid player ever in a bid to lure him to Goodison Park.

Ibra, 38, remains a free agent after leaving LA Galaxy at the end of the MLS season.
A host of clubs across Europe including AC Milan and Napoli are believed to have offered him deals as competition for his signature hots up.
And while the legendary Swede bides his time, speculation coming out of Italy claim he’s been offered a switch to Goodison Park.
Publication Areanapoli write that the managerless club are prepared to give him £3.4million per season to tempt him to reject other clubs.
Winger Bernard is currently their best-paid star currently taking home around £3.1m every year.
Ibrahimovic’s agent is Mino Raiola, also the agent of Moise Kean who the club signed from Juventus in the summer.
The striker’s decision is likely to be made depending on who they appoint as they new head coach.
