The 28-year-old Stamford Bridge favourite also heaped praise on new manager Frank Lampard.
Hazard is recovering from a fractured ankle sustained against Paris Saint Germain at the end of last month.
And well known Chelsea fan Frank Khalid spoke to him during his rehabilitation and posted footage of their conversation on Twitter.
Told that the West Londoners miss him, Hazard replied: “When I finish here I’ll come back.”
And Hazard also revealed he is keeping tabs on his old club whenever he can.
He said: “When I can I watch. Not all the time.
“But they are doing well, they’re young. Now they can pay for players, they can buy players now.”
Khalid suggested the Blues could use their new transfer freedom to re-sign the Belgian superstar.
And with a comment that will be music to the ears of Blues fans everywhere, Hazard quipped: “I do my job here and then I come back.”
