BLACKPOOL have launched an investigation after a video surfaced of a fan appearing to be PUNCHED by a steward.
The incident happened during Wednesday night’s EFL Trophy match between the Seasiders and Scunthorpe United.

The six-second video shows a man in a parka jacket attempting to run through a crowd of stewards.
And when his path is blocked, one of the stewards throws a right fist into the face of the fan.
The supporter is then pushed away.
A club statement from Blackpool read: “Blackpool Football Club is aware of an incident that occurred on the concourse at last night’s game against Scunthorpe United and is taking the matter very seriously.
“An investigation into the incident is now under way and the club will provide a further update in due course.”
The match was only attended by 1,196 fans as Scunthorpe ran out 3-1 winners to knock Blackpool out.
Fans of the Tangerines did finally have some good news in the summer.
Unpopular former chairman Karl Oyston was finally forced out of the club, with Simon Sadler taking charge.
Simon Grayson’s side are currently eighth in League One.
