Bayern Munich star Philippe Coutinho wears replica jersey as he scores hat-trick against Werder Bremen

The Brazilian star was pictured being congratulated by his team-mates as the German champions bounced back from consecutive Bundesliga defeats.

But eagle-eyed fans would do well to spot Coutinho wearing a replica Adidas Bayern jersey that is sold in the fan shop.

The version he wore features non heat-applied logos and three stripes and is made in a different material.

Coutinho’s team-mate Joshua Kimmich was also spotted in the replica jersey.

Despite the kit confusion, Bayern smashed Bremen 6-1 with Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller joining the ex-Liverpool midfielder on the scoreboard.

Coutinho is currently spending the season on-loan at the Allianz Arena from Barcelona.

The 27-year-old lost his way at the Nou Camp but is showing the form that earned him a £142million transfer almost two years ago.

And now Bayern team-mate David Alaba has called for the club to go all out and land him on a permanent deal.

Speaking after the game, he said: “If you watched the game today, we have to buy him, right?”

His thoughts were echoed by Lewandowski who added: “It was outstanding how he did that today.

“We need this kind of player. I’m really happy that he showed what he is able to do.”
