ALAN PARDEW is in talks with Dutch side ADO Den Haag about taking over as manager after Alfons Groenendijk resigned earlier this month.
According to Sky Sports, Pardew is discussing the possibility of a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The 58-year-old has been without a managerial job since leaving West Brom in 2018.
Den Haag are currently 17th, five points off bottom, and have only won three league games this season.
Previous boss Alfons Groenendijk decided to step down at the beginning of the month.
The 55-year-old joined in February 2017 and he guided the club to 11th, 7th and 9th place in the last three seasons.
After a 4-0 defeat at Heracles Almelo, Groenendijk decided the time was right for a change.
Pardew, 58, has been without a managerial job since leaving West Brom in 2018.
A terrible run of results at Crystal Palace meant Pardew was sacked in December 2016 after a run of six wins in 36 matches.
After a spell as a pundit, he took over at the Hawthorns but his stay wasn’t an enjoyable one as he left after only four months, with the club bottom of the Premier League.
After being in the Eredivisie since 2008, Den Haag will need to make the right appointment if they are to avoid relegation.
It would be appear to be a massive risk from the Dutch side to appoint Pardew, who hasn’t managed in over a year, to steer them away from relegation danger.
Their last win came on October 26 and they travel to face top of the league Ajax on Sunday, their last game before the winter break.
