The world champion has been fuming recently with a series of errors from his team Mercedes.

Despite that his team still won the constructors’ championship at last weekend’s Japan GP.

But his latest post on Instagram hints at issues on a more personal level.

On a black background, the 34-year-old wrote: “Hey world. I hope everyone’s enjoying their day.

“I’m sad right now with the thought of where this world is going. Extinction of our race is becoming more and more likely as we over use our resources.

“The world is a messed up place.

“World leaders either uneducated or don’t care about the environment at all.

“Agricultural farming is the largest pollutant we currently have by over 50 per cent, far more than our travel industry combined.

“I’m sad to see so many people, even close friends ignore what is happening daily.

“Education is key and we were taught that eating animal products was good for us but we’ve been lied to for 100s of years.

“Honestly, I feel like giving up on everything. Shut down completely.

“Why bother when the world is such a mess and people don’t seem to care.

“I’m going to take a moment away to gather my thoughts.

“Thank you to those of you who do give a damn about the world.”

HAMILTON PROMOTES VEGANISM

He continued: “It’s taken me 32 years to understand the impact I am having on the world and I’m figuring out daily what I can do to play a better part.

“I want my life to mean something and honestly up until now my life’s had no meaning. Being a part of the issue is not meaningful.

“Being part of the solution is and I’m striving to do better.

“I urge you, to do some research, find the compassion I know you have within you to recognise what you are contributing to in terms of what you eat which keeps the meat and dairy industry flourishing and therefore deforestation, animal cruelty, our seas and climate decaying on a daily basis.

“Go vegan, it is the only way to truly save our planet today. It can be done so quickly, all you have to do is put your mind to it.”

BRIT FANS LEFT WORRIED

The post left many people on social media worried for the Brit hero.

Amy Wyatt, whose Twitter name is “@Lewisno1fan”, wrote: “Dear @LewisHamilton, so many people love you so much. I hope you are okay.

“Please talk to someone. Please know you are loved and that millions of people care about the world just like you do.

“You inspire so many people, you are such a good person.”

Another posted: “I hope you’re okay @LewisHamilton.

“I just saw your Insta story. We’re all here for you. Love you. #TeamLH #Stillirise.”

Many of his fans posted that they were “worried” on Instagram and told the five-time world champ to “keep strong”.

SPEAKS OUT ABOUT DOLPHIN CRUELTY

Hamilton has used social media recently to share videos of environmental issues around the world, including the killing of dolphins.

He uploaded a clip of one being captured, writing: “The brutality Taiji’s dolphin hunters have demonstrated towards Pacific white-sided dolphins is deplorable.”

He then urged his followers to “watch, share and act”.

Hamilton also urged people NOT to go watch dolphin shows when they go on their travels.

Alongside a clip of this, he wrote: “So I’m back in Japan, one of my favourite places in the world. One of the most beautiful, peaceful wonderful places.

“The culture, the people, the food and cities are wow. But do you know, this happens here in Japan.

“Please please don’t go and support these shows around the world, don’t buy tickets to show your kids.

“Instead educate them of these horrible things that are happened to the dolphins, whales and other sea life.

“These beautiful creatures shouldn’t suffer. #Repost @dolphin_project.

“Captivity Isn’t Cool.

“Learn how YOU can be a voice for those who have been silenced. #DolphinProject #DontBuyATicket.”

It is not clear whether his latest post is related to these same issues.

The motorsport star has also done his own bit for the environment by selling his £25m candy red private jet earlier this year.

He famously used this to fly his pet bulldogs around the world.

Hamilton has kept his love life out of the spotlight in recent months, but was last linked with Justin Bieber’s ex, Spanish model Cindy Kimberly.

WE HAVE TO DO MORE!!! #Repost @karmagawa ・・・ Repost from @savethereef URGENT CRISIS, Please Share: Bottled Water Drinkers Could Consume Up to 640,000 Microplastics a Year! A new report is finding that our water bottles are not safe from microplastic pollution. The Plus Plastic report by @orbmedia reveals how much plastic is in our favorite water bottles. More specifically, these plastics are called microplastics. According to the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, microplastics are any type of plastic fragment that is less than five millimeters in length, and they are everywhere. Nestlé Pure Life was the brand with the most microplastics, about 10,390 particles per liter. Second worst was Indian bottled water provider Bisleri with 5,230 particles per liter. Thereafter, were Gerolsteiner (5,160), Aqua (4,713), Epura (2,267) and Aquafina (1,295). San Pellegrino was found to have the least amount of microplastics with a mere 74 per liter, followed by Evian (256), Dasani (335), Wahaha (731) and Minalba (863). So, Nestlé Pure Life drinkers could be consuming a staggering 640,024 microplastics a year. And the numbers aren’t much better for other brands. Bisleri drinkers could be consuming up to 322,168 microplastics a year. Gerolsteiner (317,856), Aqua (290,321), Epura (139,647), Aquafina (79,772), Minalba (53,161), Wahaha (45,030), Dasani (20,636), Evian (15,770) and San Pellegrino (4,558). TRULY INSANE, WE MUST DO BETTER so please share this post with your followers and help us spread awareness about this URGENT issue before it gets even worse! #saveourseas #endplasticpollution #karmagawa #savethereef
