WWE star Rusev has hailed Tyson Fury for giving his all during his wrestling stint and has revealed he’d be open to returning the favour by crossing over into the world of boxing.
The Gyspy King stepped inside the squared circle at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia to continue his undefeated record by defeating Braun Strowman via countout.

And in an exclusive interview with SunSport, Rusev – real name Miroslav Barnyashev – claims his successful WWE stint came down to the tough training he put himself through.
He said: “I love chatting with Tyson, just his life story is so inspiring.
“I watch boxing as well so just to be able to see his journey, and now he’s spreading the word about God, he’s just amazing and we had a great chat backstage about it, we had a great time, he’s a great dude.
“He did great in his match. He took it seriously, he prepared, he went to the performance centre and actually got ready, so he didn’t just phone it in because he’s going to make ‘X’ amount of dollars.
“He wanted to do good and this is very applaudable.”

Rusev on Tyson Fury
Fury has already hinted that he could be set for an appearance at WrestleMania 36 and Rusev revealed he’d be down to emulate Floyd Mayweather Jr’s bout with the Big Show.
But in a surprising turn of events, the Bulgarian Brute hinted that he’d be open to pulling on the boxing gloves.
He added: “I’m ready to fight anybody at any time, but a man like Tyson, he’s gonna draw a lot of eyes so I’m always down for that. Even if it’s a boxing match, I’ll box him too.”
In the meantime, Fury has a rematch pencilled in against WBC champion Deontay Wilder in February 2020 after the pair fought to a controversial split-decision draw in Los Angeles last year.
The Bronze Bomber has hinted that’d be interested in following his rival to the WWE, but Rusev confirmed he’s firmly in the Gyspy King’s camp.
When asked if he’d be supporting Fury next year, he said: “Oh of course. 100%. I don’t like Wilder one bit. I don’t like his style, those big arms that he’s swinging left and rights.
“Personally I think he should have lost the first fight against Tyson Fury and I got the opportunity to talk to Tyson about this fight in the last round and he kinda led me step by step what happened and I was so blown away being able to talk to him about it.
“I was just a big fan, like a kid talking to him.”
