In an interview with BT Sport, White praised the Gypsy King, who has said he would like to fight in MMA.
Dana White has hailed Tyson Fury but says he has unfinished business in the boxing ring before he switches to UFC
But White believes Fury has plenty of unfinished business in boxing before he moves into UFC.
The UFC matchmaker said: “Right now I see him as the best in the world or one of the best in the world.
“He’ll play out the fights with all the other guys right now.
“I’d love to have him over here to fight.
“I’ll see how it all plays out. But I do like him.”
Fury, who staged his first WWE bout last year, had trained with Scouse UFC fighter Darren Till.
The clip spread like wildfire, and even caught the eye of UFC president White, who posted the video to his own Instagram account with eye emojis.
White claimed Fury would get “smashed” in UFC.
He said: “Why come over and get smashed when you could stay there?”
Earlier, Fury had been called out by former UFC heavyweight title challenger Francis Ngannou.
Fury responded: “I’ll deal with you and all the other MMA heavyweights when I’m done with my boxing fights.
“It won’t be long to wait! Then I’ll show u how we roll.”
He also teased White by telling him he should fight his dad John in a “battle of the baldies”.
Fury is set to fight Deontay Wilder in a rematch for the American’s WBC belt on February 22.
The winner could meet Brit Anthony Joshua in a winner-takes-all unification bout.
