BRIT Luke Campbell has got the go-ahead from the WBC to fight for the world lightweight crown.
Undefeated champ Devin “The Dream” Haney has lost his title as he recovers from a recent injury on his right shoulder.

Campbell, beaten by Vasiliy Lomachenko in August, will meet Dominican Javier Fortuna for the vacant crown.
If an agreement is not reached, a purse bid will be held on January 3, 2020.
Haney, 21, from Las Vegas, was injured in his fight against Alfredo Santiago on November 9, which was the first defence of his lightweight title.
He won 120-107 on all three judges’ cards after decking his opponent in the fifth round.
But the injury has forced him to concede his title.
Campbell won a lot of fans with his brave bid to beat Lomachenko.
The Ukrainian, known as the pound-for-pound best in the world, floored Campbell in the 11th on his way to an unanimous points win.
The Englishman showed immense courage as he refused to throw in the towel despite being continually caught by the East European, arguably the best lightweight ever.
But Campbell should have a decent chance against Fortuna, who already has two defeats on his fighting record.
Should he win that he could meet Haney when he has fully recovered from his shoulder injury.
Fortuna, 30, who lives in America, has 40 bouts with two losses and a draw.
He has a 60 per cent knock out record.
