BOUNCER Waqas Khan accepts Josh Taylor’s apology for his racist and gay-hate tirade before shaking hands with the disgraced ring king.
The world boxing champ, 28, met with the doorman to beg his forgiveness a day after he was nailed in court for calling him a “gay-looking c***”.

We told how drunken Taylor let rip as he was thrown out of an Edinburgh nightclub.
It’s understood Taylor got in touch with doorman and fitness instructor Waqas to meet close to his work in Edinburgh.
A source told the Scottish Sun of today’s 2pm chat: “Josh wanted to meet him in person. He had obviously apologised on his Twitter but wanted to do more.
“The doorman seemed a very decent guy and was happy to accept the apology.
“They chatted away for a bit. Obviously it was very different to the last time they had met.”

Snaps from the ten-minute meeting show WBA and IBF light welterweight champ Taylor dressed casually in black jeans, white T-shirt, trainers and jacket.
He is seen smiling and chatting with Waqas in the street before the pair shake hands.
Tonight, an insider close to Taylor said: “He met up with the guy to apologise.

“It was just him saying, ‘I’m really sorry, I wish it had never happened, I’d had too much to drink, it’ll never happen again’.
“He just wants to get his head down and get back to the boxing.”

The city’s sheriff court heard the boxer was out with pals and flipped at around 3am.
Prosecutor Alistair Millar said: “There was some form of disturbance. Security staff said the accused was clearly intoxicated and was also asked to leave.
Your nose ring is gay. You are a gay looking c***. You big orange-looking c***.”

“Once outside he shouted, ‘You are all sh*te doorman’ and, ‘You can’t fight for real’.”
Mr Millar told how Taylor said to one bouncer, “Your nose ring is gay” then, “You are a gay-looking c***” before adding, “You big Orange-looking c***.”
Security staff called cops, who nicked Taylor and took him to the city’s St Leonard’s police station.

Taylor, who had arrived at court flanked by two burly security men, pled guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner aggravated by prejudice relating to race and sexual orientation.
The Crown accepted his not guilty plea to possessing a quantity of cocaine at the police station.
Solicitor Cameron Tait, defending, said Taylor was a first offender who “has achieved exceptional heights” in his boxing career.

He was later released after being charged.
Taylor, of Prestonpans, East Lothian, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner aggravated by prejudice relating to race and sexual orientation on Sunday. He was fined £350.
The Crown accepted his not guilty plea to possessing cocaine at the police station.
The fighter, nicknamed the Tartan Tornado, issued a grovelling apology hours after his conviction on Wednesday.
He wrote on Twitter: “Whilst out celebrating with friends in Edinburgh I made some stupid comments and poor decisions resulting in legal charges.
“I hold my hands up for making remarks which caused offence and I was rightfully found guilty of.
“I’m ashamed about the whole incident. I wholeheartedly apologise for my stupid actions.
“There is no excuse for the comments I made and the disturbance I caused. I am going to ensure it never happens again.”
