DANIEL DUBOIS vowed to ‘bang up’ Joe Joyce if his old sparring partner underestimates him.
The 2016 Olympic silver medal winner Joyce, 34, is in Dubois’ cross hairs for summer 2020.

Dubois, 22, demolished Kyotaro Fujimoto on Saturday night with a right hand from hell in round two.
Joyce’s manager Sam Jones refused to accept the all-British clash when promoter Frank Warren confronted him on live TV.
But Dubois, who will wow fans again at the O2 in April, hopes the deal can be done after Joyce’s European title tilt in January.
He said: “I didn’t actually speak to Joe Joyce after the fight, he sent his little mouthpiece over to speak to Frank.
“Joe was in the Team GB camp when I went up there, he was just about to go to the Olympics and I was a young kid trying to find my feet and see what’s what.
“I was 17 or 18 years old but I was holding my own and giving him more than enough trouble.
“Hopefully Joe underestimates me based on those sparring sessions and I can bang him up.” Outside the ring, ‘Dynamite’ is quiet and respectful, inside the ropes he is making a huge noise by inflicting maximum pain.
The right hand that collapsed Japan’s Fujimoto was so brutal the Team Dubois celebrations were muted until the medics could get the 33-year-old back up after a lungful of oxygen.

Dubois said: “I don’t want to sound too brutal about the sport but in the ring it is him or me.
“That is the risk every fighter takes when he steps into the ring.
“I have to be cold and calculated, willing to get the victory by any means necessary.”
