JAS SINGH was the toast of footie fans for his incredible display in Tamworth Town’s FA Cup third-round clash Tottenham.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper was between the sticks for the National League side just hours after his partner gave BIRTH.

But the building surveyor produced a series of incredible saves to help The Lambs take the Premier League big boys to extra time.

His stunning denial of Timo Werner in the 64th minute was the pick of the bunch and received heaps of praise from footie fans.

One said of Singh on X: “What a weekend he’s having.”

Singh stunned TV viewers in a pre-match interview by revealing his other half had welcomed a son into the world just hours before kick-off.

He told ITV: “My partner gave birth to my son last night. So, hopefully, they’re watching in hospital ths morning.”

Reflecting on the magnitude of the tie, he said: “It’s surreal, really. It’s a historic day for everyone involved.

” And hopefully the players can do it justice and put in a performance.

“It’s only a good day for us players if we put in a performance.

“We said that against Huddersfield, we said that against Burton.

“We don’t want to come here and get turned over.

“We want to enjoy ourselves by giving them a good game and have them walk off the pitch knowing they’ve had a great game.”

An own goal from Nathan Tshikuna and strikes from Dejan Kulusevski and Brenann Johnson spared the visitors’ blushes and handed them a 3-0 win.
