ERIK TEN HAG could be chased by three Bundesliga clubs next season if he gets the boot from Manchester United.
The Dutchman is battling to keep his job at Old Trafford with the Red Devils targeting England boss Gareth Southgate to take over the leading role.
The Red Devils are no longer in the run for the Premier League title and crashed out of the Champions League in the group stages, piling pressure on Ten Hag.
They are clinging on to FA Cup glory after beating Liverpool, but new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is eyeing up an overhaul next season.
The only way fans can see Ten Hag standing a chance at remaining at the club is to secure United Champions League qualification.
But the club are currently sixth in the league, nine points adrift from the fourth spot, although fifth could be enough to make the cut this season.

Now United are reportedly targeting Three Lions boss Southgate to replace the 54-year-old.
And for British billionaire Ratcliffe, Ten Hag’s £10m compensation would not be a problem if he decides to bring in a new manager.
But if the ex-Ajax head coach is given the boot this season he will not be short of offers for a new job.

Bayern Munich have been keeping close tabs on the Ten Hag situation, although Xabi Alonso remains their No1 choice to replace Thomas Tuchel.

Leverkusen will need to replace Alonso, who is weighing up offers from Bayern and Liverpool, who want him to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
