PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has broken his silence on Kylian Mbappe.
The club president has sent a brutal message to the contract rebel amid his links to Manchester United.
Mbappe’s future with the French champions remains uncertain after he confirmed he would not be extending his deal beyond next summer.
His stance has left PSG at risk of losing him on a free in 2024 if they cannot negotiate a sale before the end of the transfer window.
The club’s £250million-plus asking price has cooled interest in Mbappe, but Al-Khelaifi is adamant he will not depart for nothing.
He said, via Fabrizio Romano: “Of course we don’t want him to leave for free in 2024.

“Our position is clear. If Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. But he needs to sign a new contract.
“We don’t want to lose the best player in the world for free, it’s impossible.”
Al-Khelaifi also added: “Mbappe has said that he will not leave for free. If he changed his mind, it is not my fault.”
The PSG hierarchy remain angry at Mbappe in response to his contract stance.

As a result, the club are now reportedly looking to sell him to a team in the Premier League.
United are said to be considering entering the race to sign Mbappe as they remain keen to sign a striker after backing away from a move for Harry Kane.
Liverpool have also been linked with the 24-year-old, who’s heart is believed to be set on joining Real Madrid.
However, PSG’s asking price has prevented any deal from being done so far.
