PEP GUARDIOLA broke down in tears as Manchester City moved one win closer to doing the Treble.
Guardiola’s City beat bitter rivals United 2-1 to lift the FA Cup, just weeks after winning the Premier League.
And now attention will turn to their Champions League final against Inter Milan in Istanbul.
It is City’s second crack at European glory – having lost to Chelsea in 2021 – and a first time challenging for the Treble.
Guardiola, who had tears of joy, told the BBC: “Now is the first time we can talk about the Treble.
“Against United, it was special for our city, for our fans. We performed really well. Really, really well. I am so pleased.”

Ilkay Gundogan was the hero of the day as his double either side of Bruno Fernandes’ leveller from the spot sealed victory.
And Guardiola hailed his captain, who is out of contract in the summer.
He said: “What a season. The skills are there but it is the special mentality.
“When you have these players who play the game like a friendly game, they handle the pressure like, OK, let’s have fun, you are becoming a good, good team. Otherwise, you cannot do it.”

Gundogan said: “We know how we play and how we want to do the kick-off.
“We aimed for that, for Erling and then to attack quick. For the first time this season, we’ve scored.
“The ball was placed amazingly for me and I had to hit it. Amazing.”
