Manuel Ugarte’s own-goal had looked likely to to hand the Premier League’s bottom side an unlikely win at Old Trafford.

However, Amad Diallo’s stunning late hat-trick turned the game on its head to hand Ruben Amorim’s side victory.

The winger’s heroics sparked jubilant scenes from his team-mates including Zirkzee.

The forward could be seen grabbing his crouch with his right hand while the team celebrated by the corner flag.

His impact has seen fans call for him to start ahead of the Danish striker against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday.

Despite this, it was Amad who gained most of the plaudits for his 12-minute hat-trick.

The Ivorian netted the equaliser in the 82nd minute before adding two more in the 90th and 94th minutes.

He was saved his blushes by fans after he booted his hat-trick ball into the crowd as it was thrown back to him.
