TWO Girona stars have been rushed to hospital after suffering a horror training ground accident.
Brazil international Yan Couto and Junape both suffered injuries.
The pair clashed heads during a training session with manager Michel saying their situation “looks bad”.
He said: “Yan Couto and Juanpe had a head-butt between them and right now they are in the hospital. It looks bad.”
Thankfully the club have since updated fans that the pair are doing well after being discharged from hospital.
A club statement read: “Juanpe and Yan Couto have suffered a severe shock in a game action during today’s training and have been taken to hospital, from where they have already been discharged.”

The two players are now likely to sit out of Girona’s clash with Las Palmas on Saturday in order to abide by concussion protocols.
Couto, 21, has been a key player for Girona in their bid to qualify for the Champions League this season.
The right-back is on loan from Manchester City and has produced nine assists in 35 appearances.
Couto is also a Brazil international and has won three caps for his country, the most recent of which came against Spain in March.

While Juanpe is a long-term club servant having joined Girona in 2016.
He has made 244 appearances for the club and even captained the side on occasion.
