Supercomputer predicts FA Cup 3rd round with Newcastle set for shock defeat and non-league giant-killing


THE FA Cup resumes action tonight – and the Premier League’s big boys have finally entered the fray.

Hundreds of teams across the nation have duked it out over the last few months to make it to the third round of the world’s oldest national football competition.

And interest in the competition is hotting up now a host of Premier League sides are set to kick off their respective bids to win the trophy.

The third round gets underway tonight with an all-Prem tie between Crystal Palace and Everton.

The pick of the fixtures is undoubtedly Sunday’s clash between title-chasing Arsenal and Liverpool at the Emirates.

A mouthwatering North East derby between old rivals Sunderland and Newcastle – the first in nearly eight years – is the second standout tie of the round.

Footie fans up and down and the country will also be keen to see if non-league Maidstone United can continue their fairytale journey against Stevenage.

And OLBG’s supercomputer has predicted The Stones to dump the League One side in a massive giant-killing.

Their algorithm has also tipped Sunderland to do a number on struggling Newcastle at the Stadium of Light.

And Arsenal are expected to progress through to the fourth round with a win over Premier League table toppers Liverpool.
