A FOOTBALL coach was sent off after invading the pitch and hacking down a player who was through on goal.

The crazy incident took place in Italy’s sixth tier when Pontassieve hosted Subbiano.

A Pontassieve player was baring down on goal after a through ball when a Subbiano coach entered the field to take him out.

The coach – wearing an orange bib – looked to protest his innocence as Pontassieve rushed to confront him.

Of course, he was shown red in what was described as the “most obvious red card in football’s history.”
