Moment huge brawl breaks out in West Ham end with punches thrown and fan knocked to ground in London derby vs Arsenal


THIS is the moment a huge brawl erupted between fans at the London Stadium.

The incident occurred during West Ham’s clash with Arsenal on Saturday evening.

The Gunners took a 4-0 lead over the Hammers before the hosts scored two goals in quick succession before half-time, though Bukayo Saka then made it 5-2 with the second penalty of the game.

The clip shows a group of fans in a heated argument with one another after West Ham went 4-0 down.

A punch is then thrown by one man towards the face of another.

The man who was punched then responds by rushing towards the other fan and hitting back.

He is then held back by other supporters after the other fan fell to the floor.

One other fan who headed to the scene was seen trying to hit the man on the back of his head as he was being held back.

After he was escorted away, fans can be heard commenting that the fan who threw the first punch appeared to have been “knocked out”.

Stewards promptly arrived on the scene and ushered people away from the area of the incident.

It is unclear what sparked the brawl in the first place.

On the incident, a West Ham spokesperson said: “The club is aware of the incident and will be working to identify the offender(s).

“In line with our zero-tolerance approach, anyone identified will have their details passed to the police and will be given an indefinite ban and therefore be unable to enter London Stadium and travel with the club.

“There is no place for this kind of behaviour at our Stadium.”
