Cameras will capture footage from Jurgen Klopp’s final season in charge as they follow the manager and his players.

The Reds promise viewers a “unique insight” into the club, with the documentary to explore the club’s journey and tell human stories related to the team.

Producers Lorton Entertainment have previously developed Steven Gerrard film Make Us Dream and the Diego Maradona movie.

The company also filmed and released Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, which was first broadcast on Disney+ last year.

Speaking to the club website about the new series, Klopp said: “With this being my final season I thought we should provide a rare opportunity for viewers to have more of an inside look at what makes this club so special: its people, from our fans to our players and those who work so hard behind the scenes, constantly in pursuit of success for Liverpoo.

“Thanks to this new documentary series, viewers will be able to see what I see every day at this great club, and understand those amazing people more.”

The 56-year-old announced last week he will be stepping down as manager at the end of this season.

During his eight-and-a-half-year tenure, Liverpool have won seven major trophies, including both the Premier League and Champions League.

The Reds are currently top of the table heading into Wednesday’s home clash with Chelsea.

Klopp’s side are also into the Carabao Cup final and remain in both the FA Cup and Europa League as they chase success on four fronts.

A number of Premier League clubs have previously allowed cameras behind the scenes to film documentaries in recent seasons.

Most notably, Amazon’s All Or Nothing series has captured footage at Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal since 2017.
