Lions Roar
In years gone by, England would have been rattled by an early penalty miss and wilted to another hard-luck-story exit, had they somehow managed to make it this far.
But Lee Carsley’s Young Lions bear no resemblance to sides of the recent past.
And that is why they will go into Saturday’s Under-21s Euros final, their first for 14 years and only fourth ever, expecting to win and win in style.

First final since 2009
It is England’s first Under-21 final since losing to Germany 4-0 in 2009.
The team back 14 years featured Micah Richards, Kieran Gibbs, James Milner, Mark Noble and Theo Walcott.
Six of the German side went on the win the World Cup in 2014, such as Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil.

Gibbs-White, Gordon, Palmer and Smith Rowe have a balance of pace and skills, they all combine well as they rotate as a quartet and broke down a well-drilled Israel side.
