MANCHESTER UNITED have been hit with another injury blow after Harry Maguire limped off against Bayern Munich.
The defender was forced off with an injury during the first half of the 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
Maguire received treatment on the pitch before attempting to continue.
However, his issue proved too much as Erik ten Hag was forced into an early change.
The England international received a standing ovation from the crowd as he was replaced by Jonny Evans.
Reacting on social media, one fan wrote: “Varane is back to the starting line up and Maguire is now injured? Who put a curse on us?!”

Meanwhile, another added: “Maguire injured now… The curse on this club is real.”
United already have seven players sidelined through injury, including defender Lisandro Martinez.
Luke Shaw was also withdrawn at half-time after the commentary team had picked up on a potential hamstring problem in the first half.
Shaw has already missed three months through injury this season, only returning to action in recent weeks.

The injury comes as a setback for Maguire after his recent resurgence for the Red Devils.
He has been a rare positive for United since returning to the side in October.
His performances were recognised last week as he was named Premier League player of the month for November following three clean sheets in a trio of victories.
The injury to Maguire was an unwanted blow to United’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages.
Ten Hag’s side needed to beat Bayern and hope the other match in the group between Copenhagen and Galatasaray ends in a draw to progress.
However, the 1-0 loss and Copenhagen’s victory by the same scoreline sent them out of Europe entirely.
