City have put together some stellar opposition to the North Londoners, but the midfielder is also keeping tabs on United.

And the Ghana international was particularly pleased when Erik ten Hag’s men dropped to fifth place after Sunday’s 2-0 loss at Newcastle.

The Magpies got some revenge after February’s Carabao Cup Final defeat to the Red Devils thanks to goals by former Arsenal ace Joe Willock and Callum Wilson.

The 29-year-old appeared in a video by media personality and United fan Nana Aba Anamoah with whom he was having lunch.

Aba Anamoah asked the Ghanaian star to send a message to Arsenal fans and that is when he decided to poke fun at United.

Partey said: “Join us in celebration of United’s loss.”

Arsenal fans loved the ex-Atletico Madrid star’s banter and were left in stitches.

A raft of them immediately took to social media to join in on the fun after Partey’s witty comment.
