A FOOTBALLER bizarrely punished himself for missing a big chance to score by doing PUSH-UPS on the pitch.
The match was tied at 2-2 in the 48th minute when the striker missed a glorious opportunity to put his side ahead.
The goalkeeper came flying out of his net leaving an open goal for the attacker
The player missed the target and subsequently started doing push-ups. The goalkeeper charged out of goal missing the ball leaving the net gaping for the opponent.
He swivelled and on the half volley he shot, but sliced it well wide of the target.
Distraught at his mistake, the player began punishing himself for the miss doing push-ups on the pitch as the game continued.
