SunSport revealed last month how Sterling was a top target for Thomas Tuchel And Chelsea are now closing in on a £50million deal for the ex-Liverpool ace.
Personal terms have been agreed, with Sterling, 27, on the brink of ending his seven-year stint at the Etihad this summer.
And SunSport understands Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel – the main driver of this transfer – wants it wrapped up so Sterling can join the squad for their two-week trip to the States.
