Kylian Mbappe’s uncle ‘tells PSG star to make Liverpool transfer after YEARS of talks with his family’


A REPORT in France has claimed that Kylian Mbappe was advised by his uncle to sign for Liverpool and that the club have been in contact with the star for years.

The French striker, who was booed at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, signed a mega new contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain in the summer after snubbing Real Madrid.

Rumours have mounted again that he wants to leave that say the Frenchman felt “betrayed” by the club and some of their transfer action.

The story sent the rumour mill into overdrive and he has now been linked with Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool.

Now a fresh report has ramped up the potential of a switch to Anfield with more stunning claims.

El Pais state that Mbappe’s “most respected football advisor”, his uncle Pierre Mbappe, saw Jurgen Klopp’s team as the “most appropriate destination” for him.

And it also claims that Liverpool and Mbappe’s family have been in contact for years.

Despite the mounting speculation, Mbappe has hit out at stories which suggested he wanted to leave PSG.

After he set up Neymar’s goal for a huge win against Marseille, the ace faced the cameras for the first time since the rumours emerged.

He said: “I have not asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January. I’m not furious with the club, it’s not true.
