HARVEY ELLIOTT will become Liverpool’s youngest player to start in the Champions League after he was named to start against Inter Milan.

The Reds are kicking off their Champions League knockout campaign against Italian champions Inter.

And Elliott, 18, is set to become Liverpool’s youngest ever starter in the competition.

He will overtake current team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold, who started his first Champions League game close to his 19th birthday.

What makes the record even more sweeter is Liverpool fan Elliott attended the 2018 final against Real Madrid.

And now he is starting in the competition for the club he has supported since he was a child.

Elliott will start in Liverpool’s midfield-three alongside Thiago and in front of anchor Fabinho.
