While he appeared to be set on a more traditional coaching career, it emerged last month that Terry had instead signed up for a Fifa diploma for aspiring club executives.

The course is 12 months long and includes modules on things like leadership and sporting strategy.

Terry joins the second edition of Fifa’s diploma in club management and he could be taking classes alongside the likes of World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro and ex-Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos, who have also signed up.

Meanwhile, Terry continues to be vocal on Twitter about former club Chelsea and spoke highly of Graham Potter just weeks before the Brighton boss replaced Thomas Tuchel.
