NEWLY-CROWNED Premier League champions Manchester City have the most-valuable squad in Europe.
And British clubs dominate the top ten list, showing that the Champions League and Europa League finals are no fluke.
Manchester City will play Chelsea in the former, while Manchester United take on Villareal in the latter.
Football Benchmark has worked with top accountancy firm KPMG to assess the most valuable squads around Europe.
Premier League clubs feature in the top four, with Barcelona in fifth ending any monopoly.
Pep Guardiola’s title-winners top the pile, with their squad valued at a whopping £961.5m.
But with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Ruben Dias in the ranks it’s no surprise.
Deposed champs Liverpool are in second worth £866.8m, with Manchester United third with £778.5m worth of talent.
Chelsea bag fourth with Tuchel’s troops worth a combined £764.9m, with Barcelona completing the top five with a value of £741.9m.
But the British dominance doesn’t stop there, as Tottenham sneak in to complete the top ten, valued at £603.8m.

The figures will raise further questions why the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ even entertained the idea of joining a breakaway European Super League.
Just 48 hours after that bombshell announcement, Manchester City and United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all pulled out of the deal.
City remain on track for a treble this season. They have already won the Carabao Cup and Premier League and meet Prem rivals Chelsea in the Champions League final on May 29.
