MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Joe Hugill revealed he gave up a penalty for Amad Diallo to make the new boy ‘feel welcome’.
Hugill, 17, had already scored four in the 6-3 thrashing of Liverpool when the Red Devils Under-23s got their second spot-kick.

Diallo made no mistake as he dinked it down the middle Panenka style
But rather than take it himself again, the selfless striker handed it over to the January signing.
And Diallo, 18, made no mistake – dinking it down the middle Panenka style.
That was his second on the day as the United youngsters inflicted the thrashing on their rivals.
Asked about the incident, Hugill told Secret Scout: “It was the first time I had met Amad. He really wanted the first pen, and I was like ‘Nah, I’m going to have it!’
“When you’re talking, you’re like, ‘I need to score now.’
“You don’t want a massive argument as well because the other team will see that.
“I was on a hat-trick, so I had to take the first pen, and for the next one, as it was my first time meeting him, I wanted him to feel welcome!
“On the ball, his dribbling, everything. Even off the ball, for his first goal against Liverpool, he just pressed him. He’s 18 as well.”

In United U23s’ next game, Diallo scored one and grabbed three assists in a 6-4 goal-fest win over Blackburn.
Hugill arrived from Sunderland last summer while United spent £37million to bring Diallo in from Atalanta.
Despite the hefty price tag, first-team boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reckons Hugill is closer to get his break with the senior squad.
The Old Trafford gaffer said: “We’re going to give him the time to settle in.
“If we go from that game [vs Liverpool], I’d pick Joe Hugill.
“Four goals by Hugill, he’s a top striker as well, we’re looking forward to seeing his development.”
However, the Ivorian right-winger was named on the bench for the FA Cup win over West Ham last week.
