LIVERPOOL’s star signing Cody Gakpo admitted he got “sloppy” on his debut against Wolves.
Gakpo started for the Reds in Saturday’s FA Cup third-round tie at Anfield after his £37million move from PSV Eindhoven.
The Merseysiders drew 2-2 and the winger failed to have an impact before being replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on 84 minutes.

Gakpo told Liverpoolfc.com: “Really great atmosphere.

Gakpo added: “I think we played in phases really good football but in the end, we didn’t score enough, so that’s a pity.

Boss Jurgen Klopp was also honest about his new signing.
He told ITV: “He fitted into the game. It was not easy for a first step.
“We cannot expect it to be perfect, but he showed good signs. We have to get him in better positions but that will come no doubt.”
