REAL MADRID have been offered ex-Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani on a free transfer, according to reports.
The Uruguayan is currently a free agent, having left PSG upon the expiry of his contract earlier this summer.

Cavani, 33, elected not to stay for the club’s resumed Champions League campaign as Thiago Silva did.
But he is a PSG legend regardless, having scored 200 goals for the club – more than any other player.
According to Marca, Madrid chiefs are weighing up a move after being offered the prolific striker – whose wages won’t be cheap.
They claim that Cavani wants a minimum of £120,000-a-week and a two-year contract.
Real Madrid may decide to pounce, however, after seeing their current strikeforce draw a blank against Real Sociedad in an underwhelming opening to their title defence.
Forwards Luka Jovic and Borja Mayoral were both unused substitutes and could be moved on before October 5.
Cavani is currently training alone back in Uruguay as he awaits his next move.
Madrid chiefs are feeling the pinch of the coronavirus pandemic, and have not made a single first-team signing this summer.

But having shifted the likes of Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez in recent weeks, president Florentino Perez may feel that he can stretch to recruiting Cavani.
According to ESPN, however, they will have overcome interest from Juventus.
Manager Zinedine Zidane opted to freshen up his side with youth against Sociedad, with a number of talented youngsters featuring.
These included Vinicius Junior, Martin Odegaard and Rodrygo in the starting XI – while ex-Tranmere academy starlet Marvin Park, 20, was handed a debut.
None of them could get on the scoresheet, however, as the match finished 0-0.
