CHELSEA will be looking to put their defeat to Liverpool behind them when they face Barnsley.
The Blues host the Championship side in the third-round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
Here’s one way the Blues could start against Barnsley
Frank Lampard looks set to change up his squad after their disastrous display against Liverpool.
Starting from the back, Willy Caballero will start in goal instead of Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Blues boss has insisted the goalkeeper switch has nothing to do with Kepa’s mistake on Sunday.
At the back, Thiago Silva could make his debut for the club at the heart of the defence.
The 35-year-old is yet to feature for the club since his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in August.
Ahead of the match, Lampard said: “We’ll see with Thiago because Thiago’s not coming back off an injury, he’s just getting fit.”
Ben Chilwell could make the line-up as he is back in training after recovering from a heel injury.
The former Leicester City star missed the end of the last season with the issue.
But he’s now nearing match fitness after being put through his paces at Cobham.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho and Ross Barkley could make up Lampard’s three-man midfield.
Callum Hudson-Odoi – who is attracting interest from Bayern Munich, Juventus and RB Leipzig – is likely to start out wide.
Tammy Abraham, who scored 15 league goals last season, will lead the line with Mason Mount to his left.
Barnsley have lost their last two Championship matches, going down 2-0 at Reading on Saturday after losing 1-0 at home to Luton.
