The 22-year-old will go all out to defend his crown against all-comers when the new season begins.
The 2022 race season will also be the first to NOT feature Moto GP legend and six-time champion Valentino Rossi for 23 years.
When does the Moto GP 2022 season start?
The brand-new season will get underway on Sunday, March 6, 2022, THIS WEEKEND.
The first race will take place at the Losail Circuit in Qatar.
The final race of the season will be held at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit on Sunday November 6, 2022.
There are 21 races in total, with Fabio Qaurtarao looking to defend his title.
