MAX VERSTAPPEN has picked Sir Lewis Hamilton as the “biggest show off” in Formula One.Verstappen appears to have completed a survey for the Dutch Grand Prix’s official Instagram and ended up adding even more fuel to his ongoing rivalry with Hamilton.

The reigning F1 champion was asked a series of questions regarding his opponents and he didn’t hold back on what he thought about his biggest foe.
The Dutchman was asked to name the sport’s “biggest show off” and he ticked Hamilton’s name.
The 24-year-old also answered several other categories as he named Daniel Ricciardo as the best comedian and driver who likes Dutch food the most.
Verstappen named Valtteri Bottas as the fastest cyclist and Thai-British star Alex Albon as the most surprising result.

The Red Bull star then unsurprisingly picked himself as the best looking driver in orange, which is the Netherlands’ national colour.
But Verstappen’s answer about Hamilton is what seems to have made the biggest impact.
The two men’s rivalry hit boiling point last season following the Dutchman’s controversial victory over the British superstar at the title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

“For a long, long time, we would make changes and not see it do what it says it was going to do and improve the car.
“But we just had these last two races, which were quite strong, and that’s really encouraging us in the right direction.

Hamilton, who has won a race in every one of his previous 15 seasons in F1, and while he is encouraged by his team’s improvements in Montreal and Silverstone, he does admit victory at the Red Bull Ring in Austria might be a push this weekend.

Following the race at Silverstone, Russell still sits 18 points ahead of team-mate Hamilton.
The seven-time World Champion has struggled to adapt to life in the W13, with porpoising issues heavily impacting the car’s race pace.
However, Russell has denied claims from Jacques Villeneuve his season would be ‘made’ if he beat Hamilton.

“But I would not see my season as a success purely because I’ve finished ahead of him more times than he had finished ahead of me.
“I would see it as a success if I was standing at the top step of the podium.”
Thus far Russell has achieved three podium finishes and finished in the top five of the first nine races of the season – the only driver to do this.
However, at last weekend’s British Grand Prix he was forced to retire after a first-lap collision which Alfa Romeo driver Zhou Guanyu’s car flip on its head and violently hit the crash barriers.

After checking on Zhou, Russell wanted to continue with the race once his car was repaired, but FIA regulations forbid this after he received assistance from the stewards.
Zhou took to social media earlier today to confirm he had completed his medical check-ups and was completely fit following his terrifying ordeal.
The next race will take place in Austria this weekend, where Hamilton has already arrived to prepare.
