    What has Taylor said?
Josh Taylor seems to have put the controversial win behind him and is confident of putting on a better showing against Teofimo Lopez
“I’ve come over here to say hello to him and he’s went away hiding,” Taylor told Sky Sports.
I flew over halfway across the world to come say hello to him and pull him up really. See what are you going to say, what time is it? But he’s not here. He’s not showed up. He’s got no backside.
“So you can see he’s a little bit fragile and a little bit mentally weak. So I can definitely use that to my advantage.
“He’s a very good fighter. Stylistically I think it’s a very good fight for myself as well with the way he comes to fight.
“He comes looking for you and doesn’t take a backwards step. He’s a very aggressive, front-foot pressure fighter.”
    Taylor made
A lot of fans weren’t happy with the result of Josh Taylor’s last win as he retained his undisputed super-lightweight titles in Glasgow. The judges scorecards had Taylor, who was knocked down in round eight, winning with scores of 114-111, 113-112, 112-113.
Catterall took to Twitter just before 1am to make his feelings known after being robbed of a stunning victory.
He wrote: “What a load of s***!”

Welcome to Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez

Mayweather said: “With an event like this, it’s truly amazing to still have all my faculties.
“The aim of the game is to hit and not get hit, that’s why I was able to be in the sport of boxing as a professional for 27 years.”

Mayweather has faced stars of the MMA, social media and celebrity boxing world since boxing in exhibition bouts.

“They can scream, they can holla, they can shout. This is what I do at the end of the day.
“I don’t have to brag, I don’t have to boast, I don’t have to tell you what I can do, the world knows what I can do.

Tyson Fury called out by Jarrell Miller after American weighs 23 STONE for exhibition on Floyd Mayweather’s undercard

JARRELL MILLER weighed over 23 STONE for his exhibition on Floyd Mayweather’s undercard – and wants to fight Tyson Fury next. The American faces Las Vegas-based undefeated heavyweight Antonio Zepeda tomorrow night in Florida.
Jarrell Miller weighing in for his exhibition bout against Antonio Zepeda
The bill is being headlined by boxing legend Mayweather, who faces John Gotti III, grandson of the notorious mob boss.
Miller, 34, made his mark when tipping the scales as 325lb (23st 2lb) and made it clear he is setting his sights on Fury, 34.
He said: “I’ll do kickboxing, MMA, I chef it up, I do anything to stay busy. So we’re going to go in there and have some fun.
“He’s a young, hungry guy, I’m still young, still hungry and we’re looking for Tyson Fury after this.

“So we’re just gonna go in there, have some fun and put on an entertaining show.
“I’m gonna go and do what I do, cook some cheeseburgers.”
Miller returns in his fourth fight since his doping scandal which cost him a mega-money payday against Anthony Joshua in 2019.
A series of failed drug tests saw his world title bout scrapped and reputation in tatters.

Miller blamed the failed tests on a tainted supplement and stem cell shots in his elbow.
He then received a contract with Bob Arum’s Top Rank stable but again tested positive for a banned substance.
This time the former kickboxer put it down to a SEX PILL and was handed a two-year suspension.
After serving the ban, Miller did enrol in VADA testing which saw his licence in Las Vegas reinstated.
He won two comeback bouts before stopping Australian Lucas Browne, 44, in Dubai in March.
And he now faces 6-0 Zepeda, who has a 100 per cent knockout ratio and trains out of Mayweather’s Vegas gym.
Miller said: “He’s an undefeated guy he’s going to come in there and throw punches at me so it’s real.
“Don’t think we’re going in there to pitty pat, we’re going to have some fun at the same time.

But YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has instead opted to try and get back in the win column against former UFC star Nate Diaz in August.
And Fury claims the duo didn’t immediately run things back because Paul and his team went AWOL.
When asked if he’d been offered the fight, he told talkSPORT: “Nope. Not once [has he been in contact.]
“I think I saw a tweet the other day that he wants to run it back in a year’s time, but as far as I’m concerned we were meant to be running it back a few months later.”

Former Disney star Paul, 26, was hellbent on rematching Fury in the aftermath of his first professional defeat.
But Fury reckons he had a change of heart after watching back their Saudi showdown.
The 24-year-old said: “He was in the middle of the ring saying ‘I’m here for the rematch, that’ll be my next fight.’
“Obviously he’s gone away, watched it, and thought ‘maybe I’m not that good yet.’ So he’s silent.”

Although his sights are currently focused on MMA icon Diaz, Paul already has a date in mind for exacting revenge on Fury.
In a scathing rant at bitter rival KSI, Paul tweeted: “This clown… tried to fight D***o Dan [Dillon Danis] who has never boxed and put a dehydration clause on him.
“Fought a 40-year-old who hadn’t fought for 3 years and put a rehydration clause on him before elbowing him.
    “Now trying to squeeze Tommy.
“I elevated Tommy, my son is now worth a lot more than the $1.5M offers you making. Tommy, February we run it back.”

Mike Tyson’s old coach reveals prediction for Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder as former champ admits he’s ‘nervous’

Both men are shells of the fighters they were five years ago when they held all the heavyweight hardware, but Joshua more so.
And Teddy Atlas believes AJ’s proneness to being caught with right hands will result in him suffering a brutal knockout loss.
The International Boxing Hall of Famer said on his ‘The Fight’ podcast: “If I was backing him [Joshua], I don’t know if I’d want to put him in with Wilder, to be quite frank.
“With the kind of right hand Wilder chucks and the susceptibility he has to getting hit with the right hand.

“It’s not a knock on him, but I think Wilder would knock him out.”
Joshua returned to the win column in April with a scrappy points victory over Jermaine Franklin, who had success with his counter-overhand right on several occasions.
When pressed further on a fight between AJ and Wilder, Atlas said: “Joshua’s vulnerability for the right hand is one of the reasons [I think he loses].
“Besides, the fact [is[ he’s made so much money.

“He doesn’t need to do this, that you never see him with Wilder ever.”
Before Joshua can think about a long-overdue clash with Wilder, he must first get through fellow Brit Dillian Whyte.
A rematch with the Brixton Body Snatcher is in the works for August 12, although the fight has not yet been made official.
And Wilder admits he’ll be “nervous” watching Joshua put their multi-million-pound Saudi showdown on the line against Whyte.

The Bronze Bomber told SunSport this week: “Are you nervous?
    “Everybody’s nervous, we all are.
“I will be, I’ve said before I’m a straightforward, honest guy anyone that knows me knows that.
“But I am nervous, if he takes a fight. We’ll keep it like that.” More
