KSI accuses Jake Paul of ‘DUCKING’ fight after being sent contract as his manager says Wembley is booked for grudge bout

KSI has accused Jake Paul of “DUCKING” him after his manager booked Wembley to host their grudge match. The bitter YouTube rivals are yet to settle their score in the ring despite talks to so this year.

KSI had wanted to fight Paul at the end of 2023 but those plans took a hit after the American’s loss to Tommy Fury.
It has left the British social media, music and crossover boxing star to hit out at his great nemesis.
KSI said in a Twitter Space: “They look like they just want to do the rematch or they want to look for another opponent.
“It doesn’t seem like they are keen to fight me any time soon, which is funny because he was the guy who said I was ducking.

“But, I’m not ducking anyone, man. I’ve literally told everyone the reason why I came back into boxing was to fight Jake Paul.
“And now he doesn’t want to fight me.”
KSI, 29, beat Paul’s brother Logan, 27, in their 2019 rematch after drawing a year beforehand.
And although the two are now business partners with hydration drink Prime, the bad blood is still brewing with brother Jake.

KSI has won three times since returning to the ring but Paul, 26, was recently beaten in Saudi Arabia on points by Fury, 23.
It looks to have put a dent in KSI’s hopes of facing the self-proclaimed Problem Child this year.
His manager Mams Taylor claimed talks were going back and forth with Paul’s team with Wembley even booked for the fight.
Taylor said: “Jake has the contract. It’s not in our hands.
“We redlined it, sent it back to him, he redlined it, sent it back to us, we redlined it, sent it back to him.
“And now the ball’s in his court but I did get a call from Jake’s team saying, ‘Hey, Jake’s not going to fight KSI in the summer,’ like we wanted.
“Because, he’s some excuses, whatever. Basically he doesn’t want to fight KSI, he wants to fight other people.
“So, all that s*** about, ‘I’ll fight him tomorrow,’ and all that stuff, well we booked Wembley Stadium, we were ready and he’s the one that backed out.”

Tommy Fury called out by Viddal Riley as YouTube and boxing star questions Love Islander’s world title ambitions

VIDDAL RILEY has called out Tommy Fury as he tries to force a fight with the former Love Island star. Riley, who previously coached YouTuber KSI, has made it clear he wants to fight Fury because of the pair’s tight WBC rankings.
Viddal Riley is ranked at 40 in the WBC rankings
Fury achieved a ranking of 38 following his pay-per-view bout with the controversial Jake Paul which he won on points after eight rounds.
Riley, ranked 40, took to YouTube to call out the 23-year-old whist poking at his ambitions to become a world champion in the process.
He said: “I’m ranked number 40, Tommy is actually ranked 38, I’ve seen him say in multiple interviews: ‘My goal is to be a world champion’.
“He preaches that he wants to be a world champion. I am not currently world championship quality. I have the potential to be – and I will get there – but as it stands I’m not.

“So if you have aspirations of being a world champion, as do I, we are close in ranking, it would be a massive fight, the people would turn out. People would turn out for you.
“People would turn out for me. If that’s your aspiration, why look anywhere else?”
Riley has an undefeated record himself and has won five of his eight fights by knockout.
The cruiser-weight fighter went on in his video to suggest that Fury doesn’t want the battle.

He said: “I’ve mentioned [Fury’s] name multiple times and I’ve never heard a response which can only be for one reason,
“I’ve always said I’m going to be a world champion, I’m going to reach the top and you don’t go from zero or not recognised to number one.
“There’s a process. The fact that I’m now ranked number 40 in the world with a professional boxing governing body means that I am en route.”
Fury, who is the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, could still have to fight Jake Paul again with a rematch still an option.
The Manchester born TV personality is yet to respond to the call out made by Riley. More

And the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) have now confirmed the pair successfully carried out all drug tests around the clash.
They tweeted: “Congratulations to Tommy Fury and Jake Paul for successfully completing Vada Testing through their February 2023 bout.”
Since Fury’s victory, Paul has listed several excuses as reasons for his first professional defeat.
He said: “I was sick for four weeks out of this nine-week camp and then was travelling, jet-lagged for another week of that.

“That’s what’s p***ing me off the most, it had nothing to do with him, it had everything to do with me.”
He even named having a “wet dream” as a reason for the loss.
Paul has also insisted he will invoke his rematch clause in an attempt to avenge the loss.
But he did give Fury respect after a build-up that involved much trash-talking.

Paul added: “Obviously I want to do the rematch with Tommy but all those fights are massive. I’ve got to go get that back.

And after watching Paul suffer defeat for the first time, against Tommy Fury, 43-year-old Hearn backs himself to beat the American.
He was asked by DAZN who he would rather manage, fight and party with out of Paul, Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor.
Hearn responded: “I’d definitely fight Jake Paul because I’d actually win that fight.
“I’d manage Katie Taylor, because we’ve done such a great job. She is amazing, and it’s a Puerto Rican party with Amanda Serrano.”

Paul, 26, promoted Serrano’s historic undisputed fight with Taylor, 36, last April alongside Hearn.
And the women’s boxing stars were set to rematch in May until Serrano, 34, was forced to withdraw.
It gives Paul more time to recover from his loss to Fury, 23, in Saudi Arabia amid rumours of a rematch.
But Hearn advised his promotional partner to look elsewhere in his boxing return.

He said: “For me, the rematch, I know people will watch it, but we’ve seen what they are, which is not very good.
“We can’t keep debating that this guy is actually any good, he’s not. Just do one thing, fight KSI, it’s absolutely massive.
“Because the reality is any time you fight anyone with any ability, you will get beat.”

Gabriel Rosado left fuming as opponent Gilberto Ramirez weighs in almost a STONE heavy with fight cancelled

But the bout faced uncertainty when rumours circulated that Ramirez had missed weight by 12lb, just 2lb shy from a STONE.
Eventually, the Mexican was revealed to have scaled 182.6lb, which is still almost 8lb over the 175lb limit.
It saw the fight pulled and Ramirez on the end of a scathing wrath from a devastated Rosado.
He said: “I’m here at the weigh-in, there’s the scale. It’s 11.52, I made my weight 173, Zurdo Ramirez came in 187.

“The fight’s not happening, I’m sorry but I was professional, I came in, I did my job, he came in way too heavy, 12lb over the weight limit.
“We gave him a grace period of over two hours and he didn’t make the weight, man. So the fight’s not happening, sorry.”
Rosado, a 44-fight veteran, was coming off three straight losses and looked to bounce back by moving up in weight.
Whereas former super-middleweight champion Ramirez, 31, was coming off a title loss to unbeaten Dmitry Bivol, 32, in November.

He was forced to apologise to 37-year-old Rosado after horrifically missing the weight.
Ramirez posted on Instagram: “I had never missed weight in my 45 pro fights.
“This is the first and last time. I have always prided myself on being a professional, but today was not my finest moment.
“On that note, I’d like to apologize to all my fans, supporters, Golden Boy Promotions, and DAZN for this unfortunate event.
“I never gave up trying to make weight, cutting until the final moment, but just couldn’t lose enough to make the contracted weight.
“I am embarrassed and upset by my actions and promise that this will never happen again. I will make the right adjustments and be back soon.”

Jarrell Miller and Lucas Browne weigh combined 43 STONE for fight as disgraced heavyweight calls out Anthony Joshua

JARRELL MILLER and Lucas Browne weighed a combined 43 STONE for their humongous heavyweight fight in Dubai. The pair of veterans headline in the Middle East and left their mark when they hit the scales.

    Miller, 34, weighed a whopping 333lb or 23st 7lb while Browne, 43, came in at 277lb, which is 19st 7lb.
It meant the combined weight between the pair was 43 stone.
For context, strongmen rivals Hafthor Bjornsson, 34, and Eddie Hall, 35, weighed only four stone more in the “heaviest boxing match in history.”
Browne is coming off two wins, most recently against Australian contender Junior Fa, 33, in June.

But he was left fuming when the British Boxing Board of Control refused to licence him to fight Daniel Dubois, 25.
Miller meanwhile returns in his first notable fight since his disgraceful doping scandal.
The American infamously blew the chance of challenging Anthony Joshua, 33, for the heavyweight titles in 2019 after failing a series of drug tests.
He blamed the failed tests on a tainted supplement and stem cell shots in his elbow.

He then received a contract with Bob Arum’s Top Rank stable but again tested positive for a banned substance.
This time the ex-kickboxer put it down to a SEX PILL and was handed a two-year suspension.
Miller enrolled in VADA testing in December 2020 and has returned clean drug tests since, which saw his licence in Las Vegas reinstated.
The New Yorker won two comeback fights last year, on points against Ariel Esteban Bracamonte and a stoppage over Derek Cardenas.
And ahead of his fight against Browne, Miller audaciously called to settle his score with Joshua.
He told iFL TV: “Fight somebody that’s really game.
“Regardless if you want to talk and bring up nonsense, listen you know what these guys do, man.
“Let’s put our bulls*** aside, let’s be like men, let’s get in the ring and let’s really bang it out so I can really retire your punk ass.”

Tyson Fury fight against Oleksandr Usyk in major doubt with Ukrainian set to take on mandatory world title clash instead

OLEKSANDR USYK could turn his attention to his mandatory challenger with an undisputed fight against Tyson Fury in major doubt. The Ukrainian accepted Fury’s “greedy” offer to unify all four heavyweight belts for the first time in history on April 29 at Wembley.

The WBA had ordered Usyk, 36, to agree terms for the unification or else face mandatory Daniel Dubois, 25.
But the governing body were informed that both sides had settled on a split and wanted to press ahead with the historic title clash.
Although Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas has vented his frustration with no deal yet agreed and warned they could now fight Dubos instead.
Klimas told SNAC: “If this fight is going to happen, only April 29th. Or it’s just going to be cancelled, and we’ll go with the mandatory.”

The boxing manager revealed Fury’s US promotional team Top Rank are now involved to try and smooth over negotiations.
But Klimas claimed the current unified heavyweight and ex-undisputed cruiserweight champion is being treated unfairly.
He said: “It’s changed, Top Rank got more involved in it, but not too much.
“They’re still treating Oleksandr Usyk like they did with Derek Chisora, or Dillian Whyte.

“They act like it’s just a regular Fury fight in the UK, and everything has to be by Fury’s rules.”
Fury, 34, spoke out to demand NO rematch clause in the contract but Usyk’s side claimed his team were the ones asking for it.
Klimas said: “So what’s it going to be tomorrow? You can not fight with right hand? Only one hand?
“What’s going to be next? We don’t know what’s going to be next from this guy.”
Klimas has previously maintained Usyk’s acceptance of 70/30 is only valid for a fight on April 29, just six weeks away.
And any postponement will cause a renegotiation of 50/50 split between the unbeaten pair.

Conor McGregor, 34, revealed he could be in attendance as he eyes a shot at the 170lb belt.
But one man who will not be in town is YouTuber-turned boxer Paul, 26, who has long rivalled UFC boss Dana White.
The American was at UFC 261 in April 2021 and hit the headlines after the arena was filled with chant of “f*** Jake Paul.”
But according to the man himself, UFC president White was left fuming and banned him from ever attending events again.

Paul said on his podcast last October: “I’m banned from UFC events.
“Dana banned me after [the fans] were shouting ‘f** Jake Paul in a stadium,’ and I tried to go to a different fight and all of our tickets were declined, banned.”
Paul has hit out at White in the past and accused the promoter of underpaying his stars and failing to provide them with healthcare.
But his older brother Logan, 27, recently signed a deal to see his Prime hydration drink sponsor the UFC.

He said: “Again, you’re just playing a game, and here’s my theory: if Jake is able to identify a target to further his agenda of fighter pay, [that’s] the way to do it.
“Like, if you can identify a common enemy, unite everyone against that person, [then] you’re furthering your own agenda.”
