      Frazer Clarke coasts to dull points win vs Mariusz Wach and admits people ‘will think Fabio Wardley will flatten me now’

      But it’s hard to see what he would have learned after 10 one-sided rounds the referee called a shutout of 100-90.
      The straight talking Burton boxer said: “I think I started off well but I faded because it is extremely hot.
      “I did lots right but also lots wrong, I need to do better.
      “People can call me an Olympian but those 10-round pro fights are a very different thing.

      “People will be saying that Wardley will flatten me now because I tire after six rounds so bring it on.”
      Clarke scored with a triple jab in the opener and whipped a right hook into Wach’s tattooed torso.
      Wach scored back with a right hand and, with almost 21st behind the punch, Clarke did well to shrug it off.
      A meaty second-round right hand from the Brit sent Wach’s sweat spraying into the thin audience.

      Both behemoths landed right hands in the third and shook them off without a wobble.
      The rutting stags enjoyed a bit of argy-bargy on the bell, bouncing bellies and refusing to give way on the routes back to their corner.

      And Biaggio, 24, recorded his fourth successive finish in the opening round with a stunning sequence of punches.
      The American had Miller in trouble with a right hand and a follow up combination forced a knockdown.
      Biaggio sensed the finish and swarmed Miller with a set of ground and pound shots which left the referee to stop the bout.
      The ex-American football prospect extended his record to 4-1 and said: “My existence, just existing and being related to who I’m related to is pressure.

      “I had pressure when I was playing football and that’s a whole different sport.
      “I’m definitely going to have a lot more pressure participating in a combat sport.
      “But I’ve had that since I was a little kid, I don’t care, I think how you deal with the pressure is more important.”
      Biaggio does not yet have plans to turn pro as he continues to rack up wins and experience.

      He said: “I wanted to be more patient, that’s something I’ve definitely got to work on.

      Frazer Clarke laboured to a dull points win over 43-year-old veteran Mariusz Wach.
      The 31-year-old 2020 Olympic bronze winner turned down a shot at Fabio Wardley’s heavyweight British title to continue his learning curve against the experienced Pole.
      But it’s hard to see what he would have learned after 10 one-sided rounds the referee called a shutout of 100-90.

      Lescano is brave but struggling to cope with the assault.
      Right hooks crash into her chin and both fists pepper her body.
      This one looks like it’s going the distance.
      Dubois has not lost a round but Lescano is a fearless woman.

      Dubois targets Lescano’s ribs with a handful of winding blows.
      after half-a-dozen blows Lescano folds down into the ropes and canvas for a count of eight.
      Dubois does not rush her mission and when Lescano touches the canvas again it is ruled a slip.

      A spiteful lead right hook from Dubois slaps into Lescano’s left cheek but the underdog does not wobble.
      Dubois is landing big shots but the Argentine is showing a solid chin.
      Trainer Shane McGuigan tells Dubois that Lescano is starting to tire now.

      One-two from Dubois pushes Lescano back into the ropes.
      A right hook then staggers the visitor.
      Lescano looks a lot more fragile than the Londoner but she is still swinging at the end of every round.

      Steady opener from Dubois until the very last punch of the two-minute session, a left hand that rocks Lescano’s skull backwards.
      The lightweight ace punished almost every shot the South American threw.
      But Lescano showed plenty of grit and is not here to fall over for money.

      Dubois – the growing darling of women’s British boxing – steps up again now.
      Argentina’s Yanina Lescano is up next.
      The Shane McGuigan pupil is just about the only female with real stoppage power right now.

      He told iFL TV: “That man is a total p****. And you know when I see him, smack right in the ear hole. And I mean that.
      “AJ’s a gentleman, he’s done what he can for this country but I’ll tell you now if he (Hearn) comes round John Fury, I’ll backhander that bum.
      “He ain’t said nothing but I’ll tell you what it is, he’s in for the biggest shock of his life in the boxing world.

      “And he’ll probably be that sick he’ll never look at boxing promoting ever again. It’s coming for him.

      Hearn is busy mapping out Joshua’s next move, having been in talks for him to fight Deontay Wilder in December in Saudi Arabia.
      But Joshua, 33, was lined up to first rematch Dillian Whyte on August 12 even though negotiations have hit a snag over money.

      Similarly, Fury, 34, is without a next opponent having failed to fight Oleksandr Usyk earlier in the year amid a row over money.
      But the Gypsy King revealed the shock news that he has been offered a “hybrid” bout against UFC champion Jon Jones, 35.
      He said: “I’ve been in talks with Francis Ngannou for a hybrid fight.
      “There’s talks of me and Jon Jones doing a hybrid fight as we talk, right now.
      “I received an offer from the UFC yesterday, so you never know what’s going to happen.
      “The future’s bright, for sure, and there’s a lot of options out there.”

      ROMAN FURY continued the family trade with his second boxing win in front of I’m a Celeb hunk, Jake Paul conqueror and brother Tommy.The 26-year-old sibling of WBC heavyweight king Tyson won his debut at Doncaster racecourse in October.

      And he eased to 2-0 with another points triumph over Erik Nazaryan at York Hall arena on Friday night, with the referee calling the four rounder 40-36.
      Nizaryan – a short, stocky, shaven-headed athlete – was compared to Stavros Flatley by unimpressed fight fans online ahead of the clash.
      But the 38-year-old Belgian – now a veteran of 66 fights – was no push-over for the Salford southpaw and took him the distance.
      The latest Fury off the boxing conveyor belt is making an impressively modest entrance onto the hurt business and is not milking his moniker for easy money.

      Novice Fury showed off a range of shots, to head and body, and didn’t try to grab headlines with a wild knockout.
      By round two Nazaryan was bleeding from his nose and bruised from stinging Fury lefts.
      Before the third round started, front-row Tommy told the TV camera: “He always had it in him, it was just a case of getting in the gym and dedicated himself to it.
      “He has done that now and he is doing fantastically”.

      Fury towered over Nazaryan in clinches in the Bethnal Green ring, one late embrace looked like the Mitchell brothers reuniting in the middle of Albert Square.
      Nazaryan’s blood was smeared all over Fury’s torso by the end of the learning fight but the pair ended on respectful terms.

      Since hanging up his gloves, Mayweather has hit the exhibition circuit and recently fought John Gotti III in a bout that erupted into chaos when a brawl between both corners stopped the fight.
      In 2020, Money appeared on ESPN and was asked to pick the best of the best from his sport, with Mayweather having legendary names such as Ali, Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis to choose from.
      But he instantly named himself as top choice and explained why.
      The American said: “He’s beat more world champions than any other fighter in a shorter time and less fights than any other fighter.
      “Landed punches at the highest percentage and took less punishment. He’s been world champion 18 years in five different weight divisions.”
      Regarding placing Ali in fifth, a man widely-regarded as the best of all-time, he said: “Ali, only one weight class and really lost to Ken Norton three times.
      “What he did is he stood for a cause in an era when African-Americans didn’t stand up for their people.”
      Mayweather also launched an extraordinary rant against Ali as he was named the best boxer of all time.

      He said: “What are we judging fighters on? Because if we’re judging fighters on standing for a cause, then it’s Ali hands down.
      “But if we’re talking about taking the least punishment and breaking records, it’s Floyd Mayweather.

      “But when we talk about record breaking, we’ve got to talk about Ali losing his world title to a fighter with only seven fights.
      “I have to take my hat off to Ali, but I didn’t give this sport 40 years to say that there’s another fighter better than me.”
      When the host argued that Ali’s boxing resume included legendary fights like his Thrilla in Manila showdown with Joe Frazier and suggested Mayweather did not have the same type of brawls, that ignited the flame further.
      A fuming Money replied: “That’s not cool. That’s not cool.
      “What I’m here to teach fighters is this: the name of the game is to hit and not get hit. It’s not about taking punishment.
      “And I love Ali, but sitting on the ropes, taking punishment as far as doing a rope-a-dope – that’s not cool.”
      Mayweather named Roberto Duran second, Pernell Whitaker third and Julio Cesar Chavez fourth in his own list.
