      Ngannou doubled down on his eagerness to fight Fury this past weekend, tweeting: “I’ll be ready @Tyson_Fury.”
      It didn’t take long for Fury to get wind of the callout, which he dismissed by insisting he could batter him in a drunken state.
      Fury shared a video of Ngannou hitting the speedbag to his Instagram story and wrote: “I’ll have 15 pints and still KO you, [you] big stiff tramp.”
      Cameroonian clubber Ngannou jumped at the opportunity to try and further goad Fury into a crossover clash, tweeting: “Stop talking, Tyson, and come try.”

      “I’m already doing you a favour using your gloves and your rules because [of] your limited skill set.”
      WBC heavyweight king Fury is currently without an opponent following the collapse of his historic undisputed showdown with Oleksandr Usyk.
      Ngannou, 36, is eyeing a multi-million-pound boxing payday following the expiration of his UFC contract – which paved the way for him to sign a lucrative and historic deal with the Professional Fighters League.
      And The Predator’s sights are set on throwing down with the likes of Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

      During an appearance on The MMA Hour manager Marquel Martin said: “We go back and forth on that all the time.
      “We’d love it if one of the big fights present himself, but it seems like they’re kind of tied up. So I guess tune-up fight.
      “Francis isn’t a traditional boxer, so every fight is a big fight.
      “But I know Francis wants to challenge himself.
      “Obviously, you see Deontay out there, Anthony Joshua out there, Tyson Fury out there, we’d love that matchup.
      “I think that’s something that has a narrative and a story behind it that’s bigger than just the fight game.

      Due to the injury being caused accidentally and not by a blow, the bout was halted and taken to judges scorecards at the time.
      Two had Holmes, 28, controversially in front, with the other leaning towards Toussaint, 31.
      As a result, Holmes was declared a technical split-decision victor, which drew a furious reaction from the booing audience.
      In the night’s main event, women’s boxing star Claressa Shields remained unbeaten by defeating Maricela Cornejo, 36.

      Shields, who returned home to Detroit, retained her undisputed middleweight championship with a shut-out decision.
      She said: “You saw the best of me tonight.

      Shields, 28, teased a move back to MMA where she is signed to the Professional Fighters League and has a 1-1 record in the cage.

      The two are now good friends and business partners following the launch of their drinks company Prime, who now sponsor Adesanya and Volkanovski.

      Paul has boxed once since when he took American legend Floyd Mayweather the distance in their exhibition bout in June 2021.

      A deal for the historic title bout fell through amid a row over the split for a potential rematch.
      So Fury, 34, instead turned his attention to a summer return fight at Wembley before eyeing an undisputed showdown with Usyk, 36, after.
      But the undefeated WBC champion has been left with little available options on the table.
      So promoter Warren is set to speak with the WBC with the prospect of Fury facing a mandatory challenger next.

      And Glowacki, 36, won it with a rare KO after he was laid on his back on the floor with opponent Patryk Tolkaczewski raining down punches.
      But the boxer out of nowhere landed a left hand which caught Tolkaczewski on the chin.

      “There was no warning, no nothing. I don’t know where the nudity has come from.
      “When it happened I was just so confused and didn’t really understand what was going on and when I clicked on it and it said I had been banned.

      BOXING fans have joked Oleksandr Uysk has “scrambled” Anthony Joshua’s brain following an X-rated rant on the Brit’s Instagram story. It comes after promoter Eddie Hearn claimed talks were now underway between AJ’s camp and Dillian Whyte’s for a targeted August 12th bout.

      However, following the promoter’s claim, Johusa took to his Instagram story to deny his knowledge of fight talks.
      Drawing inspiration from the lyrics hit UK rapper Stormzy – who will manage the England team at this year’s Soccer Aid – AJ, 33, said: “I don’t know about any talks to fight Dillian Whyte.
      “Everyday. AJ this, AJ that, AJ’s hairline going way back but I’ll still f*** your girl go retweet that.”
      A follow-up post came soon after, with Joshua posting a picture of Stormzy on his story alongside the caption: “AJ’s this, AJ’s that.

      Indeed, way back in 2015 – when AJ beat Whyte via a seventh-round TKO to win the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles – Stormzy performed during AJ’s ring walk.
      The musician previously had beef with Whyte.
      The heavyweight had claimed he could “knock out” Stormzy, with Stormzy responding by calling him out in his song “One Take”.
      Stormzy’s lyrics were: “I clocked it, my man’s lost it. Man held a beating, the ref should’ve stopped it. Mopped it, had one chance you flopped it.

      As well as a rematch against Whyte, Joshua has also been linked with a bout against Deontay Wilder.
