But former boxing star Froch has been outspoken about the bout, which comes six years after Floyd Mayweather beat MMA icon Conor McGregor.
So much so that Fury felt the need to defend the mega-money fight in the Middle East when direct messaging Froch on Instagram.
He said: “The biggest fight in the world moosh. The richest heavyweight fight in history. Carl, don’t hate the player, hate the game.”
Froch, revealing the exchange on his YouTube channel, replied: “I doubt that! You v Usyk is far bigger. Anyway, not hating.”

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren teased the fight for months after claiming it was a “game changer”.
But Froch ranted about Fury’s spectacle showdown and urged promoter Frank Warren to instead agree a deal with Usyk or Anthony Joshua.
He said: “The ‘game changer’ the big game changer, what’s his name? Ngannou. Tyson Fury against Francis Ngannou, so a crossove fight boxing and MMA.
“Been there, seen it, heard it all before. See it with Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, it’s a load of rubbish.

“Nobody’s interested anymore, there’s loads of MMA fighters trying to call out boxers, trying to get the clickbait talking so they can get these paydays.
“It’s a load of rubbish, been talking ages about, ‘Oh, we’ve got a game changer, the game’s changed it’s going to be brilliant.’

“What a disappointment. I was actually excited thinking, right I can’t wait for this news and then you go and pull that out of the bag.
“Dead rabbit out the bag, straight in the bin. It’s just of no use to anybody so just stick to boxing promotion and get a real fight for Fury.
“Get him in there with Anthony Joshua, get him in there with Usyk, get a move on with it.”

KSI claims ‘terrified’ Logan Paul won’t let brother Jake step into ring with him

KSI claims Logan Paul does not want his brother Jake to fight him after the “terrifying” experience of their bouts. The YouTube sensation drew with Logan in their 2018 grudge match before winning a follow-up event a year later by scrappy split-decision.

But the foes turned friends in the years since following the launch of their popular drinks company Prime.
Jake, however, has not forgiven or forgotten his own rivalry with KSI, fuelling demand for a bitter bout.
But KSI believes his older brother Logan is not so keen on the idea.
He said on Viddal Riley’s YouTube channel: “I even feel like Logan doesn’t want me to fight Jake, because he knows how hard I train.

“He knows I’m relentless, Logan has fought me and he knows how long it is.
“Even if you have everything on me, there is that little bit inside of me that never gives up.
“Having to fight that and put your all into fighting this guy but he’s still coming forward, it’s terrifying.”

Logan, 28, features on the undercard against Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis.
Jake, 26, is set to be ringside for the event after claiming KSI is doing everything he can to avoid their proposed fight.
He told Twitch streamer Adin Ross: “It’s gonna happen, it I mean it has to happen. It has to happen, we’ll make it happen, for sure.
“I’ve been trying to do it, man. He then goes online and like lies about it. Certain clauses and stuff.
“What happens in boxing is if they don’t really want to do it, they just hide behind all these crazy clauses to make it seem like it’s the contract that’s holding everything up but really it’s the person who doesn’t want to do it.
“And it’s like look, I’ve fought everybody, every single time. Anyone who asks to fight me, I did the deal, I made it happen.
“They want ten round? OK, cool. They want this? OK, let’s f***ing do it. So I make these fights happen back to back to back to back for past three-and-a-half years.
“And people think that I’m the one that wouldn’t make it happen? It’s like, come on guys let’s be realistic here.

“And I told them, I’ll do it in the UK, you can be the A-side, I don’t give a f*** about any of that.

Tyson Fury says UFC sent him shock ‘offer’ to face Jon Jones after Dana White proposal prior to booking of Ngannou fight

TYSON FURY claims he received a sensational “offer” from the UFC to enter the cage for a crossover clash with heavyweight champion Jon Jones. The Wythenshawe warrior is gearing up to make his ring return against the MMA promotion’s former 265lb king Francis Ngannou in a much-maligned Saudi showdown on October 28.

Fury, 35, was embroiled in a public spat with Jones – MMA’s controversial but beloved former pound-for-pound king – before the finalisation of his ten-round exhibition with Ngannou.
UFC kingpin Dana White publicly entertained the clash, which the WBC heavyweight champ claims was put on the table by the promotion’s parent company WME-IMG.
The undefeated Brit told SunSport in an exclusive interview: “That’s 100 per cent true [that I received an offer to fight Jones].
“I’ve had an offer from the UFC, from [WME] IMG, to fight Jon Jones.”

Fury has received pelters for welcoming boxing novice Ngannou to the professional ranks for his first outing since his one-sided beatdown of a battle-weathered Derek Chisora last December.
But that won’t stop him from entering the dangerous world of mixed martial arts should the UFC’s offer still be on the table after his desert dust-up with Ngannou.
The former unified heavyweight champion said: “Frank Warren knows about it, my team knows about it.
“It’s still ongoing and we’re looking to move forward on that for sure.”

Fury and Jones even went back and forth with one another via text to try and make the shock showdown come to fruition.
“Me and Jon have even spoke about it,” Fury said.” It’s definitely a real thing.”
A potential clash between Fury and Jones became the talk of the combat sports world in May after UFC commentator Joe Rogan ruled out Fury’s chances in a no-holds-barred straightener with Jones.
Fury reacted angrily to that notion, saying in one of his many Instagram story rants: “Here’s a thought.
“How about this? How about I fight Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou on the same night?
“How about that? That’s how much I value them two bums. Get up! Let’s go, boys.”
UFC Hall of Famer Jones is set to call time on his legendary career after what will be his first defence of the heavyweight title.
The former long-reigning light-heavyweight champion will defend the 265lb throne against former champion Stipe Miocic on the promotion’s 30th anniversary card – UFC 295 – at Madison Square Garden on November 11.

NINA AGDAL has taken legal action and filed a restraining order against Dillon Danis follow his relentless social media trolling. The Danish model has been the subject of a venomous social media campaign from Danis – who is set to fight her fiance Logan Paul in a boxing match – over the last few weeks.

MMA fighter Danis has shared numerous photos of Agdal with her previous partners in what many have called a “slut-shaming” campaign.
And Agdal – the former girlfriend of Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio – has had enough, suing and filing a restraining order against the New Yorker.
Agdal claims to have “suffered humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm” from Danis’ incessant tweets about her.
She also accuses Danis of sharing a 10-year-old X-rated photo of her from a “romantic encounter” with a former partner.
    READ MORE IN SPORT
In the suit, Agdal claims that one of Danis’ posts “violated federal and state law”.
An excerpt of the suit read: “Danis posted the photograph — entirely uncensored — from his X (Twitter) account, without Plaintiff’s consent.
“Later that day, Danis reposted the explicit photograph in order to maximize the number of views it would receive.”
Agdal claims Danis only removed the photo after Misfits Boxing threatened to cancel his social media clash with Paul.

Danis also shared a six-year-old video of Agdal talking about wanting physical intimacy after a period of celibacy.
She suggests “Danis had hacked [her] personal account or had obtained the private video from someone who had done so” as the video was stored in her Snapchat archive.
Agdal is seeking damages of £120,000 per federal violation and has asked a judge to ban Danis from posting further sexually explicit images which could potentially harm her reputation.
Danis – a long-time pal of UFC superstar Conor McGregor – broke his silence on the lawsuit on Twitter but sensationally made light of it.
He said: “Nina Adgel has filed a massive lawsuit against me.
“She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail.
“This is actually wild but I won’t stop f*** the system come get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.” More

And it wasn’t long before Ross – who has teased a fight in the influencer boxing scene – wanted to share the ring with Paul.
But he soon regretted it as he found himself taking punishing but controlled shots from The Problem Child.
Paul, 26, let Ross – who is a vocal and public supporter of well-known misogynist Andrew Tate – throw several jabs before brutalising him to the body with hooks and uppercuts.
And after nearly eight minutes of playing around, the former Disney star grew tired and dropped Ross with a big left hook to the liver.

Another chimed in: “Adin stays getting dropped.”
Paul was last in action in August against former UFC superstar Nate Diaz, who he locked horns with in a ten-rounder.
He got back to winning ways with a unanimous decision victory over the fan favourite, somewhat removing the bitter taste of defeat to Tommy Fury from his mouth.
In his post-fight interview, he said: “I knocked him down, won basically every round.
“I think he won one round but he’s a warrior.
“I had him hurt in the first round, he kept on coming.
“All credit to my team, my conditioning, going ten rounds in my eighth fight, it’s unheard of.

Eddie Hearn reveals Anthony Joshua could take ‘ANOTHER’ fight before Deontay Wilder as negotiations are ‘slow’

EDDIE HEARN admits Anthony Joshua could be back in action as early as “December” – despite being deep in talks over a 2024 grudge match with Deontay Wilder.Negotiations over the duo’s long-overdue grudge match began before Joshua’s axed domestic dust-up with Dillian Whyte last month.

Talks over the January joust resumed after Joshua obliterated short-notice replacement Robert Helenius but have ground to a halt due to Wilder’s eagerness to have a warm-up fight.
And the potential delay could lead to a third outing of the year for the poster boy of British boxing.
When pressed on the negotiations, Matchroom Boxing chief Hearn told The DAZN Boxing Show: “It’s slow, I won’t lie.
“Obviously, it’s a massive fight and these things take time.

“Everything is kind of agreed other than the signing of the paperwork.
“We know that takes time, especially in that part of the world.
“For me, the biggest concern is AJ wants to fight in December or January, we know the Wilder fight is not going to happen in December so we’re happy to wait until January.
“But if that fight starts pushing back to February or March, don’t be surprised if he still signs for that fight but has another one in between.”

Despite being desperate to face Wilder next, Hearn admits a tick-over fight is something Joshua would welcome.
He said: “He’s loving the activity at the moment.
“He’s loving being in training camp, he’s loving working with Derrick James.
“But our full focus is to sign the Deontay Wilder fight.
“I’m not disappointed but we want to get it done.
“The conversations have to extend to [Oleksandr] Usyk and [Tyson] Fury, they could be on the same card – who knows?
“So there’s a lot of conversations to be had. I truly believe that Wilder is up for and ready for this fight. We’re in a good place.”

Daniel Dubois formally files appeal against Oleksandr Usyk defeat following controversial ‘low blow’ call

But in the fifth round he had Usyk on the floor following a shot to the midsection – which referee Luis Pabon adjudged to be low.
Usyk took full advantage of the five minutes to recover but opinions were divided on whether it was low or not.
Heartbroken Dubois and his fuming promoter Frank Warren vowed to fight the result and now they have appealed to the WBA.
Warren called for the bout to be declared a “no contest” with the loss being chalked off and a rematch being requested.

The Hall of Fame promoter argued: “Daniel Dubois was unjustly denied of his rightful status as unified world heavyweight champion.”
It also makes the claim that Usyk would not have got up from Dubois’ body shot had it not been ruled a low blow.
The appeal read: “Mr Dubois landed a body blow that dropped and severely hurt Mr Usyk and, seemingly, crowned Mr Dubois the heavyweight champion.”
They maintain the “blow was incorrectly adjudicated as low by Mr Pabon.”
