Watch unseen footage of Conor McGregor’s ringside altercation with KSI as Anthony Joshua plays mediator

FOOTAGE has emerged of Conor McGregor’s ringside altercation with KSI at Anthony Joshua’s fight. Both KSI and McGregor were ringside at the O2 Arena to watch as AJ knocked out Robert Helenius in round seven with a stunning right hand.

Anthony Joshua leapt to KSI’s defence
After victory, Joshua fled the ropes and took a lap around the ring.
He soon bumped into McGregor and the two shared a celebratory sip of the UFC star’s Irish Forged Stout.
But YouTuber-turned boxer KSI was also next to Joshua and was soon on the end of an earful from McGregor.
The Irishman is believed to have called KSI a “b****” but Joshua was heard responding, “That’s my guy!”

McGregor, 34, went one further later in the night by calling out KSI, 30, to a bare-knuckle fight.
He said live on DAZN: “Big congrats to AJ, big congrats to Eddie, big congrats Forged Irish Stout.
“And I know your man KSI is in the crowd and he couldn’t box eggs if he worked in an egg boxing factory.
“So if he wants to get in here I’ll give him a final yoke, bare-knuckle if you want.”

Responding, KSI tweeted: “Lmao just seen this.
“Jake Paul must be crying that I’ve got Conor on my d*** already and I didn’t even have to fight an mma fighter.”
KSI was also booed earlier in the night as he vowed to beat Tommy Fury, who he faces on October 14 in Manchester.
And Fury responded: “I’m deep in training camp whilst you’re making a fool out of yourself at fights.
“Keep talking s***….come the 14th I’m going to destroy you.”

Deontay Wilder’s reaction to Anthony Joshua’s brutal KO over Robert Helenius revealed after FaceTiming coach

DEONTAY WILDER immediately FaceTimed his coach Malik Scott after Anthony Joshua’s brutal knockout of Robert Helenius. Joshua’s hellacious right hand in round seven left Helenius out for the count and needing oxygen.

And it looks to have set up a super-fight with Wilder in Saudi Arabia, eyed for January.
The Bronze Bomber’s coach Scott was in the house at the O2 as his fighter Gerald Washington was beaten on points by Derek Chisora.
So Wilder was quick to get on the phone to his trainer and express relief in Joshua’s KO – his first since 2020.
Scott told October Red: “He was like, ‘We needed that’.

“We both said the same thing because at first it was looking like it was getting ready to go the distance so when the knockout came I called him on FaceTime and he was like, ‘I’m glad he got that, we needed it done just like that.’
“So we’re both satisfied, the fight is bigger to me than it was because of the knockout, so shoutout to AJ to going out there and getting the job done.
“Most of all shoutout to Robert Helenius. It took a lot of courage to get in that ring with real killers especially on short notice.
“He just fought Deontay last October, had one fight back and now he was right back in there fighting Anthony Joshua.”

Boxing reps from Saudi were ringside to watch Joshua’s win and attention has now turned Wilder.
And Scott has insisted the ex-WBC champion is up for the challenge – but may squeeze one fight in beforehand himself.
He said: “He’ll be more than ready for a January showdown.
“Last time I checked with Deontay we were looking for something for October, hopefully we can lock in an opponent and from there we’ll go and knockout AJ in January.
“Andy Ruiz doesn’t want to fight Deontay so we’re looking for somebody else, someone who really wants to fight and take a chance and unfortunately somebody else who is going to be knocked out.”

Anthony Joshua breaks down how he will beat Deontay Wilder with heavyweights closing in on mouthwatering fight

ANTHONY JOSHUA believes he has the game plan ready to beat Deontay Wilder.AJ, 33, secured his 26th professional win with a seventh-round knockout of Robert Helenius on Saturday night.

Joshua failed to enthral the O2 Arena crowd – who booed him during the contest – and looked largely unconvincing for most of the fight.
He did land a big right hand which ultimately ended the contest against the veteran Finland fighter.
And now the former heavyweight world champion is eyeing a showdown with fellow fallen star Wilder for a possible January date in Saudi Arabia.
Like AJ, the Bronze Bomber is rebuilding his career after squandering his belt in the incredible trilogy against Tyson Fury.

But Joshua – who has three defeats on his record – is confident he has what it takes to beat the heavy-hitting Wilder, who possesses one of the most powerful punches in boxing history.
AJ said about his tactics should he step into the ring with the American: “This is a game of chess.
“I’m gonna take away Wilder’s best attributes.
“I’m not gonna stand there with my chin in the air and say, ‘Hit me.’

“I’m gonna nullify him. It will be very challenging for him for sure.”
Joshua celebrated his laboured victory over late replacement Helenius with a crude gesture inside the ring before jumping out to take a sip of Conor McGregor’s pint.
And then he took a swipe at the supporters inside the O2 who jeered him – but insisted it did not impact his performance.
The Watford man said: “Not necessarily, I think they don’t understand it is competitive boxing.
“I was watching certain fights tonight and they didn’t look as exciting as I thought they would.
“Were they booing me or Helenius? That is the question, who were they booing?”
The reporter then suggested that fans wanted a quicker knockout.
AJ hit back, saying with a shrug: “Have any of them ever boxed before?”
He was also quizzed on if he was happy with his display, responding: “That is for my coach [Derrick James], I don’t really rate my performances, whatever the coach thinks.
